War Consumes Us
Angels of anger, grief, and pain,
Watch over us as we play.
Through dark times unnumbered and good times long forgotten,
A little girl sits in a town that was just forgotten.
War consumes us more everyday,
Will the angels ever help us to find the way.
Peace is now a long forgotten dream,
And death is now all we see.
Ourside is always thought for us to be right,
Yet what if our thoughts were different,
Would the wars end? They just might.
Yet the angels watch over us as we play,
As we endure the everyday anger, grief, and pain.
